Travel Tips
By Air:
- BWI: (Baltimore/Washington International Airport) The best choice especially if you are renting a car. About 30 minutes from hotel/venue area.
- DCA: (Regan National Airport) Easy access to the Metro, so it's a good choice if you are not renting a car. Shuttle service will be provided between Metro and the Venue/Hotel whenever possible.
- IAD: (Dulles International Airport) Not recomended, but you might be able to find some cheap fares here. It's a good 1 hour plus drive to the venue/hotel area, so it will require renting a car or catching a ride from a local Northern Virginia Churchbasser.
By Land:
- From the NorthEast (To the venue) Take I-95 South to Route 198 west, Left on Old Columbia Pike, Right into Forcey Memorial Church.
- From the NorthWest (To the venue) Take I-70 East to I-270 South to MD-28 continue onto MD-198 right onto Old Columbia Pike, Right into Forcey Memorial Church
- From the South (To the venue) Take I-95 North to I-495 E/I-95 N to the "Balitmore Ave (Route 1), College Park" Exit. Take a Left onto Route 1, Then a right onto Cherry Hill Road. (Note that Cherry Hill changes names to Randolph Road), Then Right into Forcey Memorial Church.
By Sea??
Hey it could happen... Baltimore and anapolis both have ports less than an hour from the venue. Why not cruise to BP7 in style.
Once you are here...
Metro provides a nice tool for getting around town. The "RideGuide" is like mapquest for public transportation. It will tell you the best way to get anywhere in town by bus or subway. It also includes how much each part of the trip will cost and how long the whole trip will take. Very handy for finding your way from my house to the whitehouse.
